The important question for educators to ask is, "What does digital storytelling offer education?" The answer is a great deal if we do two things, focus on the story first and the digital medium later and use digital storytelling to enhance students skills in critical thinking, expository writing and media literacy."

As I was reading this quote, I got a few ideas for lesson plans and maybe some that you can combine with other teachers to make a lesson that follows into other classes. In an English or poetry class class, students can write a short story, or a poem. In art class, they can find or draw images to tell their story/poem or find pictures to illustrate their work. Finally, in a media or computer class, the students can put all their work together to make one of these stories. I believe these stories are awesome ways to mesh several different subjects together and make it fun for students :)
